The first day, we arrived in our families at 7:30 p.m, the other days we met our families at 6:30 p.m. We were hosted in Wallington, a city located one hour from London. The week in our families was great, the families were nice and the houses very comfortable and beautiful.

The food was very good, we laughed a lot! We offered presents to our host families and some families offered some to us as well.

The daily life of English people is quite different from ours: their breakfasts contain eggs, bacon, sausages and beans. The cars drive on the left side, the wheel is on the right. Not very surprising: the London weather is a little bit colder than the French one!

 

Last but not least, some funny stories:

- Charlotte, Mathilde and Aurore’s family’s dog could say ‘’I love you’’;

- There was a blackout at Léo, Iliasse, Aymeric and Momo’s house. No electricity during two days!!!

- Lucas disguised himself in Thor, an American superhero.

- Axel, Thibault, Valentin and Marti did not eat the first evening because they misunderstood the woman who was hosted them.

-  Maxime is so clumsy that he broke one glass at his host family’s place !

-  Baptiste lost the umbrella lent by his host family! He felt really sorry and had to buy a new one!
